Taking a break

I have to apologize for not posting for the times I have committed. This blog is a great personal goal for me and I want very much to complete it. I have a great many personal goals that I am trying to accomplish and I must say that I am moving along well in my attempt to accomplish them.

However, the most important personal goal that I have is developing my own spiritual life. Anyone who has to live in the world we live in, with the demands of work, family and all the other things that pull at us, can appreciate how precious each moment becomes when you are trying to squeeze in some time to reflect and meditate.

I have certainly enjoyed reading the Qu'ran thus far. It has helped me to gain a better understanding, to some degree, of my Muslim brothers and sisters and has contributed to my own spiritual development. I am not giving up but I can no longer commit to weekly posts regarding my reading of the Qu'ran. I am diligently pursuing some spiritual goals I have and hope to be able to come back to the Qu'ran once I have reached some of those goals.

Please feel free to subscribe to this blog so that when I do make an update you can be made aware. Of all the blogs I write I must say I like this one the most. More than likely because it takes me out of my comfort zone and stretches me to grow as a person.

I will from time to time make posts regarding opinions and feelings I have regarding my observations of Islam and issues in the Middle East so I hope that will suffice to some degree though it is a digression from the original intended subject of this blog.

For those of you that pray five times a day and have no reservations praying for an unbeliever I welcome your thoughts and prayers for me if you deem it fit to offer them.

May you be well, happy and peaceful!
